Kathryn Mohr

Musician Kathryn Mohr creates songs at the intersection of slowcore, ambient, and experimental pop. Her work blends whispery vocals, lo-fi guitar textures, and desolate electronic layers into an intimate sonic world that balances vulnerability and estrangement. In 2020, she released her first EP 'As If', an analog synth-based collection of dark songs that caught the attention of DIY artists and the record label The Flenser. In 2022, she followed up with her second EP 'Holly', co-produced with Madeline Johnston of Midwife — a collection of guitar-driven tracks interwoven with bleak electronic interludes. Her debut album 'Waiting Room', written and recorded in complete isolation in Iceland, was released in January 2025 — and she’ll be performing it live for you on November 2 at Trix!
