Lalalar

Fresh psychedelia from Istanbul! With their retro-cinematic bass lines, dirty electronic beats, rebroken vocals, flirting guitars and attentively dug samples from the legacies of Anatolia, Lalalar evoke a future nostalgia. Founded by three well-known musicians from the Turkish music scene, respected both for their solo and collective work, Lalalar is no doubt one of the must-hear European discoveries of the moment. farfar

Farfar is a Mediterranean Fusion band from Antwerp. Their unique style, influenced by Spanish Grooves and North African melodies, makes Farfar's concerts a musical adventure that incites daydreaming one moment, but turns into one big dance party in no time! They sold out AMOR (De Roma) twice before the release of their debut album on November 18 and 22. After this they also played in De Centrale, 't Ey and TRIX, among others.

Their first album 'Calima' was released on streaming platforms on November 23. Calima is a wind that carries Sahara sand to the European mainland, a metaphor for the musical influences from around the Mediterranean that give color to farfar's music. Olav Grondelaers already presented farfar on his program 'Music Matters' on Klara and Michaël Robberechts interviewed them about their debut in 'Time Out' on Radio 1.
