Life Of Agony

Life of Agony celebrate the 30th anniversary of their second album 'UGLY' by playing it live in its entirety!

“Everyone was expecting River Runs Red, Part 2, but Ugly was a left, right, and U-turn! People were like, ‘Okay, this is different?!'. It took some time to sink its hooks into our listeners, but when it did, it became a classic. I’m super excited to celebrate the ‘Ugly Duckling’ of the L.O.A. catalog!”Joey Zampella (Life Of Agony)

Life Of Agony

Life of Agony has been a cornerstone of the alternative metal scene for over three decades. The band broke through in 1993 with their raw and emotionally charged debut River Runs Red, an album that has since achieved cult status. With the support of fellow New Yorkers Biohazard, they quickly claimed a prominent spot in the New York underground scene.

Although Life of Agony faced internal tensions and disbanded in 1999 after their successful early years, they continued to return to the stage over time. Since their definitive comeback, they've been more productive than ever. With the critically acclaimed albums A Place Where There's No More Pain (2017) and The Sound of Scars (2019), they proved themselves both relevant and forward-thinking.

In 2023, they celebrated the 30th anniversary of River Runs Red with a complete live performance of the album (and passed it off at Trix). In 2025, they'll do it again, but this time to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their second album Ugly.
