Marie Davidson was originally on track to become a classically trained violinist, but she fell in love with analog electronic music and grew into a key figure in Montreal’s minimalist synthpop scene. Armed with an arsenal of synths, recorders, drum samplers, and other gear that would make any music nerd drool, she seamlessly blends techno, house, synthpop, and italo disco. On stage, she brings it all to life through a theatrical interplay of video projections, dark sonic textures, and her signature dry humour.

For her latest album 'City Of Clowns', Marie joined forces with the Dewaele brothers (Soulwax) and Pierre Guerineau (Essaie Pas). The record was written, produced, and released via the Dewaeles’ Belgian label Deewee. That collaboration didn’t come out of nowhere: in 2017, Soulwax delivered a widely acclaimed remix of Marie’s hit 'Work It', sparking a lasting creative friendship.

Producer and DJ Phillipi made his mark at DEEWEE (2ManyDJs / Soulwax) with his solo EP Amadurecimento and the album Paciencia (Phillipi & Rodrigo). As Fatnotronic and Ubaruh, he releases on labels like Multi Culti and Razor-n-Tape. On the decks, he delivers Acid House, Electro, Disco, and Techno across festivals and clubs from Dour to Berghain, earning support from the likes of Dixon, Solomun, and 2manydjs.
