Modestep is the project of London-based musician Josh Friend, who now runs it solo with his new live band. Modestep is known for their blend of rock and dubstep and broke through with the hit “Sunlight” in 2011. Since then, they’ve played iconic festivals like Glastonbury, Coachella, and Woodstock Poland, where they captivated an audience of no less than 750,000 people.

The new album, set to be released in September 2025, is described by Friend as darker and melodic, with deep basslines and catchy vocals. Modestep continues to evolve while always keeping the energy and power that define them.
