Nourished By Time is the musical alter ego of Baltimore’s Marcus Brown, who fuses post-punk, New Wave, R&B, and electro-funk into an emotionally charged and idiosyncratic blend of soul and critique. His music reads like a diary from the underbelly of late capitalism: sharply observational, dreamlike, and laced with bitter romanticism.
