Swiss Canadian post-pop-art-punk duo Peter Kernel has been ruling the scene since 2005. Their music is full, empty and simply complicated. It’s pop, it’s rock, it’s experimental. This is why you’ll see the band on stage as well as at Milan fashion week, in museums, in swimming pools,… They are everywhere and they are ever elusive sometimes sweet, sometimes noisy. From their debut record “how to perform a funeral” to their fifth and latest record “Drum To Death" Peter Kernel always remains a contradiction.

Over the past decade, Mind Rays (Ghent, est. 2013) have carved out a reputation of wild and energetic live shows along with a raw, uncompromising and booming sound.  

After a split 7“ with Teen Creeps and an EP on the US label Gnar Tapes in 2015, they released their debut full-length LP ‘Nerve Endings’ (PNKSLM Recs.) in 2017 and continued to brazenly tour their way through Europe.  In 2019 their sophomore record ‘Course of Action’ (PNKSLM Recs.) came out, an album on which their bold and furious songs truly came to life with production from Pieter-Paul Devos (Raketkanon, Kapitan Korsakov).  

During summer 2023 they once again locked themselves into the studio, this time with producer Bert Vliegen (Whispering Sons, Teen Creeps) to work on an all new EP which is sure to be the band’s definitive statement.  They couldn’t be more psyched to play this new batch of songs live, keep your eyed peeled for a release date soon!
