Quade

Quade is a four-piece band from Bristol, consisting of Barney Matthews, Matt Higgins, Tom Connolly and Leo Fini. They jokingly describe their sound as “doomer sad-boy, ambient dub, folk, experimental post-rock,” which, frankly, sums it up pretty well: melancholic, dreamy, and elusive. On April 18, they released their second album 'The Foel Tower' via AD 93. Recorded in the vast hills of Mid Wales, with the mysterious Foel Tower as a source of inspiration, the album breathes both intimacy and grandeur. Quade makes music you can disappear into, a subtle mix of emotion, atmosphere, and experimentation that at times feels just a little bit otherworldly.
