SMIB

SMIB WORLDWIDE was founded in 2014 by a multidisciplinary collective from the Bijlmer. What started as a lifestyle brand has grown into a platform for music, fashion, events, literature, and art in a broad sense. SMIB is also the name of the collective itself, carrying its culture from the BIMS, “BIMS” spelled backwards. The musical side of SMIB is represented by artists including Ray Fuego, Nnelg, GRGY, Loopey, and Ploegendienst.

After years of working on individual projects, the members came together in the studio. The result is the new hip-hop album ‘EENDRAGHT MAECKT MAGHT’, a record where every member is distinctly present, featuring guest appearances from Chivv, Reanny, Idaly, and Ronnie Flex. The title is a nod to the motto of places like Brooklyn, the birthplace of hip-hop, and sums up the spirit of SMIB perfectly: collective energy is the source of their strength.
