After a ten-year cryosleep, Antwerp noise-kaijus The Hickey Underworld awaken from their feverish slumber with 'Cold Sun', their fourth and most furious effort yet. Consider lead single ‘Euromancer’, detuned Sonic Youth guitars over a Prodigian breakbeat, a damn catchy warning shot.

B O I is a new Antwerp based band formed by songwriter Indra Aubroeck (vocals, guitars). This all female queer outfit further consists of Claire Faniel (Fäk) on guitars and keys, Marieke Hutsebaut (ex-The Spectors) on bass and backing vocals and Caia Croes (ex-Kobalt) on drums and electronics. Captivating lyrics mixed with mesmerizing instruments form the base/serve as the foundation of B O I’s music. Drenched in a grungy sauce, B O I makes catchy pop songs with a twist. 

Kai, better known as Palmbomen II, is a Dutch composer and music producer born in 1988 in Dordrecht. His music blends cinematic electronics, analog synths, and minimalist grooves, influenced by artists like Tangerine Dream, Arvo Pärt, and Philip Glass. After years in Los Angeles, he now lives in Antwerp, collaborating with friends and building studios to record, mix, and color music. His recent works, originally composed for films, combine vintage gear with modern production and are freely offered to inspire others.
