2ECOND SEAT
2ECOND SEAT is a producer and DJ from Antwerp who is constantly on the hunt for new sounds, genre-fusions and a definition of his own style. He started teaching himself how to produce inside the brackets of hip hop and later on hard dance genres like gabber and hard techno, but quickly left behind the box-thinking and started drawing inspiration from almost everything and everywhere. While playing with characteristics of baile funk, breakbeat, ghetto tech, dubstep, trap and drum and bass, he tries to go for a final product that’s as personal as possible.
A. Dumont
Informed by his post-industrial hometown, A. Dumont seeks to translate his surroundings, concrete-filled streets, desolate fields, and bleak artificial nature, into sonic passages. Painstakingly (and almost obsessively) curating his sound toward this goal, A. Dumont blends fragments of the past with elements of the present, detached from the constraints of genre, tapping into themes often suppressed in a collective act of escapism, pervasive in both club culture and daily life. By doing so, A. Dumont seeks to confront his audience with a harsh reality, breaking through this futile attempt at willful ignorance.

Cheyanne Hudson
Get familiar with Cheyanne Hudson, British Jamaican slash Hong Kong DJ and creative spirit, born and raised in The Netherlands. Hip-hop is where her heart lies, and the aim is to unite that love with the rhythmic pulse of club music. It has led her to associate with MAD CITY, a promising Dutch collective brewing in the Amsterdam underground. Whereas Cheyanne’s personality behind the booth is light and breezy, the dark and gloomy sounds she emits tend to seize audiences, drawing them deep into her world. It’s the rich musical legacy of Jamaica’s Sound System culture in which the young artist moves frictionlessly: snappy amen breaks, low-end frequencies and dubby chants form the red thread through her sets. It’s not too hip-hop for the techno kids, nor too techno for the hip-hop kids… it’s just right! Already getting picked up by Boiler Room, ADE and now Horst Festival, it’s clear as to where she’s headed. Catch her bi-monthly on Gimic Radio and/or your nearest dancefloor.
Giecheltrien
Expect contrast, unpredictability and a whole lot of character. Giecheltrien translates their complex personality into bold selections, blending clashing genres, shifting moods, and unexpected switches. Sometimes it clicks, sometimes it throws you off and that’s exactly the point. The set becomes a story, not just a playlist. Always searching, never fully satisfied because growth is the goal.
