"We are very sorry to announce that we have to cancel our upcoming November headline shows. It’s been a really difficult decision to make. But a combination mental health difficulties, the problems of balancing this band with our jobs and other aspects of our lives, as well as the way that touring has become even tougher and more precarious since the (ongoing) pandemic has led us to needing to press pause on everything. The health and well-being of everyone in this band has to be our priority, and we need some time to work out how to run this band in a way that reflects this moving forward within this increasingly challenging touring landscape, with the rising costs of living.
We are so so proud of our new album, Baby, and gutted to not celebrate it on this second leg of the album release tour with you. We do hope to reschedule but for the time being all tickets will be refunded."

De toegangsprijs wordt met €5 bewust laag gehouden. Koop je echter meer dan één ticket in voorverkoop, dan worden ze nog goedkoper! Zo zal je voor vijf tickets bijvoorbeeld slechts €15 betalen. Fun fact: Petrol Girls zijn vernoemd naar Les Pétroleuses, een Franse groep terroristische vrouwen die melkflessen gevuld met explosieven in overheidsgebouwen gooiden aan het einde van de 19e eeuw. De toon is meteen gezet. Deze punk/post-posthardcore band komt uit Londen en speelde al het voorprogramma van Refused en The Dead Kennedys. Invloeden zijn te halen bij White Lung, Bikini Kill en At The Drive-In.
Met hun pas uitgebrachte album 'Baby' ontving Petrol Girls heel wat lovende recensies. Vier sterren bij Kerrang! en een 9/10 bij zowel Distorted Sound als TheNeedleDrop.
