Pachyman

Pachyman, the LA-based one-man dub band of multi-instrumentalist Pachy García, hails from San Juan, Puerto Rico, where he grew up immersed in the music of local reggae heroes Cultura Profética and classic Jamaican dub records from King Tubby and Scientist.

After relocating to Los Angeles, he fell in with the weekly Echo Park reggae night Dub Club and began creating his own dub music, influenced by the Caribbean sounds of his youth, and recording guitar, bass, drums and piano in his basement studio, which he calls 333 House. García began to organically build an enthused following among the reggae community and was recently given the 2021 Discovery Award at this year’s Latin Alternative Music Conference.

Tuff Guac

Tuff Guac is the solo project of Rafael Valles Hilario. After conquering many undergroud stages in various garage punk guises, he felt like doing something new. More pop, more melody, more sauce, and debut album “Green and Handsome” was delivered. It became a reverb-hungry garage pop album with catchy hooks and lots of velcro-fuzz solos.

Also for the second album (out on March 22, 2024), Raf worked alone in his analogue studio and emerged again with a series of elastic soul songs and stretchy rock 'n roll that will also convince live. For that he receives the help of Wim De Busser (The Colorist Orchestra, Zita Swoon, Helmut Lotti ...), Jasper Suys (Jerry Lada) and Gert-Jan Van Damme. Tuff Guac shows are energetic, catchy and super danceable. They have proven this before in Belgium, not least in the final of Humo's Rock Rally 2022.
